Apply for Amputee Coalition’s 2022 Youth Camp in Tennessee
Amputee Coalition is excited to announce we are accepting applications for the 2022 Youth Camp in Greeneville, TN, from July 3-10. Amputee Coalition has a commitment to diversity and inclusion and strongly encourages individuals from historically underrepresented and marginalized groups to apply.
What: The 2022 Paddy Rossbach Youth Camp is FREE to participants. It is a fully funded weeklong, in-person experience inclusive of diverse individuals with limb loss and/or limb difference (LL/LD) to connect for building a sense of community, team, skills, and enhanced self-confidence.
Participation as a Camper, Leader in Training, or Counselor is fully funded with the Amputee Coalition covering travel expenses, food, lodging, and all program participation expenses. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings including any baggage fees.
Who: Participants eligible to attend are
Campers with LL/LD (ages 10-17)
Leaders in Training with LL/LD (ages 18+)
Counselors with LL/LD (ages 20+)
We are seeking 170 diverse Campers, and 30 Leaders in Training and Counselors to connect, explore and grow together. Leaders in Training will participate in a leadership development curriculum in addition to providing supports to campers and counselors.
Where: The 2022 Paddy Rossbach Youth Camp will be held in-person at the Clyde Austin 4-H Center in Greenville, TN, July 3-10.
We will follow Amputee Coalition’s safety precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (requiring vaccination or negative testing to attend).
